The room had a nice terrace with two chairs that provided a serene spot to enjoy the greenery. The lodge's location offered stunning mountain views, creating a peaceful atmosphere for a getaway.
The rooms could use some refurbishment, with leftover garbage found in the closet indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Additionally, the balcony wasn't particularly functional, merely looking into trees, which made it less inviting. Our stay included organized bus tours that brought in large groups, which detracted from the intended exclusiveness of the experience, leaving us feeling more like just another stop on a long journey than valued guests.

their so-called family room was a disappointment, with a worn basin tap and the shower literally flooding the floor. The breakfast staff woudl ve been kinder, but they acted like I was invisible. I almost wrote a good review after that beautiful patio view, but the lack of a welcome drink made it impossible.

The hotel's setting amidst the lush forest, combined with a stunning view of Execution Rock, created a truly enchanting atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the outdoor terrace, which enhanced our dining experience significantly.
While the restaurant had a good menu, the breakfast staff were not very helpful in introducing the options available, leading to some confusion about what was being served.
